| Krk island is the largest
island of Croatia with 410 km2 and a population of 14'000 people.
Near Kraljevica there is a huge bridge over the bleak rocky Sveti Marko island. The 1309 metres long bridge disposes of a long arch made of reinforced concrete. Further connection facilities to the mainland are a number of ferry lines. In the north of the island, an airport is situated.
