Mljet, the most distant island
of the south Dalmatian archipelago, is situated near to the romantic
city of Dubrovnik.
Mljet is the greenest of the Adriatic islands.
The north-eastern part of the island which is under supervision of
the touristic community of Govedjari, was declared to a National
park, territory in 1960 with a surface of 31 km2.
